The Gateway Center strives to help clients achieve self-sufficiency through a wide range of programs and services, including Upward, a residential addiction recovery program to help men achieve freedom from addiction and find employment. Designed for single men, the two-phase program provides support from staff through an initial 12-step curriculum. Upon successful completion of stage one, participants can move into their own housing, save money, and look for work.
To enter the program, applicants must have 30 days of sobriety and be committed to their continued recovery. The program varies in length from six months to a year.
