In its efforts to promote the field of community psychology, SCRA oversees various programs and activities aimed at education, research, practice, and policy. Additionally, the organization produces several publications throughout the year, including the American Journal of Community Psychology (AJCP).
SCRA members have online access to the AJCP, which features research, theoretical papers, and detailed descriptions of innovative community programs. Currently, SCRA is collecting work for a special issue of the AJCP that will focus on ethical challenges faced by community psychologists and researchers.
All full manuscripts for the special issue must be submitted by October 1, 2016. Those whose work is accepted will be notified as early as spring 2017. For more information about the AJCP and topics to be covered in the upcoming special issue, visit www.scra27.org/publications.
